Two years ago, I found myself praying earnestly and searching deeply for an authentic Christian community. That simple desire led to a weekly Bible study at Chick-fil-A — a gathering that would become the foundation for something far greater than I imagined.

In 2024, the Lord placed it on my heart to host a women’s conference. Out of obedience, Doers of the Word was born. I believed it would be a one-time event, but through prayer and the heartfelt feedback of those who attended, it became clear that God was not finished.

By His grace, what began as a single act of obedience has grown into Heart Shift — an annual women’s conference shaped and sustained entirely by the faithfulness of God. Over these past two years, He has expanded and deepened this ministry in ways far beyond anything I could have envisioned.

At its core, Heart Shift is simple. It is built on one central truth: a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ is not defined by religious routines, but by a heart transformed by Him. This transformation is made possible only through the power and authority of God’s Word.

At Heart Shift, we believe that true change happens when we immerse ourselves in Scripture — when we don’t just read the Word, but let it read us. Our mission is to encourage and equip women to know Jesus personally by engaging deeply with His Word and faithfully applying it to every area of life.

As James 1:22 reminds us, we are called to be doers of the Word, not hearers only.

We are filled with hope and expectation for all that the Lord is doing through Heart Shift. It is a joy and an honor to gather with women who are hungry to grow in truth, faith, and wholehearted devotion to Christ. May He continue to transform hearts, starting with ours.
